Bleach Heat The Soul series 5 is come out already and still running wild s it’s the first popular game everyone has been waiting for. With new character to fight with, new worlds to fight in and a whole new fighting system to try, Bleach Heat The Soul 5 returns to the PSP. Does this really brings something new to us? Or is it just the same? Find out in review of Bleach Heat The Soul 5

Story :
This game is already the fifth game in the Bleach on the PSP. And each of them seems to get better and better. This story starts where Bleach 4 ends. If you watch the anime and played the previous games, than you know where it begins and ends. Am I right? The game starts when they enter the world called Hueco Mundo. Why they are entered that world, is to save someone from the evil people. You will not see on this game at least you have to watch the anime to know what’s happening. The story is really simply put in this game. At the beginning of each fight, a short message is displaed, saying that what is actually happening. Some fights have a short cut scene, which isn’t really that special, because you only see them standing and looking at each other. The story is really straight and rally based on the anime. So there isn’t twist, it’s just fight your way trough it. You will continue your journey till you’ve defeated Grimmejow.

Gameplay:
The gameplay fithing system hasn’t changed at all. It’s actually the same, which 1 really like. Why you ask? It’s simple! The gameplay is really unique. This game isn’t really know with his huge combo system but every characters does has there own style if fighting and combo’s, but it’s simple to use. That’s why I like the control. The previous game was mess with characters. You had a whole collection of characters, but there were 3 Ichigo’s, 2 Ishida’s, 2 Rukia etc. This time they cleaned the whole place up. You can now choose better by just pressing the button and a menu will pop up and it will ask you which form you want. It made me clearly and easy to made the choice. You can also transform during your fight by pressing a certain button. Problem is that you can’t go back.

They added a new function. And that would be the Tag Battle. And I do have to say that this is really based on the Tag Battle. To get new character you will have to play the Tag Battle. What is that? Tag Battle can let you use 2 characters in 1 battle. You only play with 1 character, the other is behind you next to the screen. You can switch with each other when you want to. It also allows you some new things. You can do a double finisher, which allows you to do a lot of damages to your opponent. For example Ichigo and Hitsugaya, they don’t have special characters finisher move. So they just use their special attack normally. But when you put Ishida and Abarai together in a tag team, then they will use a special character finisher. If you see the anime, you have seen the duo work together. That’s there special on this tag battle. If you ask for more, why not you to fin it out.

Animation / Graphics:
They didn’t change a thing! I’m not joking. They didn’t change the characters graphically. The worlds are pretty much the same. Well.. The models are still good lloking. The fighting stages still is telling use what it really is. But what I hoped that the graphics part can upgrade in more advance and smoothly. The new world does have something new from the anime. if you watch the anime, then you will recognize the world in this game.

Music:
The music stayed the same. Their still fun to listen at, and the background music makes you playing the game even more.
Just like the previous games, the cast voice over are all in this game. Si there isn’t a fake tone you can hear. There isn’t really something to tell about the music.
